Bananaman Fancy Dress Costume

Eric is a schoolboy who lives at 29 Acacia Road and is much like any other schoolboy except for one special power - when he eats a banana he transforms into the superhero Bananaman. This makes him incredibly strong and able to fly through the air.

Bananaman appeared in The Dandy and later went on to have his own TV cartoon from 1983 meeting such enemies as Auntie, General Blight and Weatherman. With help from Appleman, Police Chief O'Reilly and his trusty sidekick crow, Bananaman bumbled his way solving crimes and capturing villains.
